Serial Killers AU

Audey smirked to herself as she sauntered down the alley. It was a dank night, misty and miserable, and most people were safely holed up in their warm homes. The ones who were out were mostly drunks and thugs. She wasn’t concerned by either category. The only thing concerning her was the hunt. She hadn’t picked out her prey yet, content to let them come to her this time, and was simply enjoying the calm that came before the frantic excitement she experienced once she snared her prey. Her heels clicked on the sidewalk as she walked along. She’d found that people were so much quicker to underestimate a woman in heels and a nice dress. She noticed a figure lurking in the shadowed mist across the street, and her grin grew as she predatorily stalked across the road, movements lithe and confident. It was always so interesting, finding strangers out and about. Sometimes they were perfect for hunting, and sometimes they were hunters themselves, eager to join her for a bit of fun. She wondered which category this one would fall into…

“Nasty night to be out and about, isn’t it?”
